Birthday Weekend

On July 28th we got to celebrate the 27th birthday of the GREATEST person in my life: my amazing, wonderful, handsome, hard working, talented, smart, funny, loving hubby!!! I don't know what I would do without him!! He is the best dad to our kids, they just love him, and I know they'll feel comfortable turning to him throughout their lives. THANK YOU, Steve, for all you do, we love you!!!!

Mmmm, yummy red velvet and white chocolate cheesecakeEvan't first taste of whipped cream. I'm pretty sure he ate the rest, haha.We also had some angel food cake waiting for us at home, but we ate it the next day because we were STUFFED. My sister, Sarah's b-day is on Aug. 8th, and she turned 20 this year! So we went down to my parents' house to celebrate her and Steve's b-day together. It's become a tradition! That Saturday we went on this MASSIVE hike up a mountain. It was 3 miles up and 2 miles down. It's not equal numbers because the trail is a loop around the mountain and it goes up more gradually than it goes down.View from the top. Isn't the smog disgusting?!We saw some deer!
